Sevki Acuner is an Independent Member of the Board of Directors at the Istanbul Stock Exchange listed Tekfen Holding A.S., Migros Ticaret A.Ş. and Anadolu Efes. He is also former Chair of the Board of Directors of NPC UKRENERGO and Ukrainian Railways, Ukrzaliznytsia.

Mr. Acuner was also EBRD Country Director in Ukraine and on the board of several companies in Europe. During his 22-year career at the EBRD, Sevki Acuner held senior management positions in the Risk Management and Agribusiness departments before being appointed to a Deputy Director in Turkey in 2009, and subsequently to Ukraine in 2013. 

Prior to joining the EBRD, Sevki Acuner worked at the Central Bank of Turkey, the Bank of Montreal and the Royal Bank of Canada in various countries in North America and Europe.

He previously was a President of Turkish Bankers Association, United Kingdom; Chairman of Business Ombudsman institution of Ukraine, Deputy Chairman of AmCham Ukraine, and Chair of the 777 Nomination Committee. 

Mr. Acuner is a Turkish-British national and holds a BSc in Management from Bosporus University, Istanbul, and an MBA from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada.
